The Dose Area Product measuring chamber comprises the complete electronic module and provides a serial interface RS485. By means of an ASCII protocol the handling and display of measuring results is managed by the X-ray unit control console or by a separate display unit. An interface cable with converter RS232-RS485 is available to connect the chamber to the standard interface of a host computer.

The single-line Display unit is added to the measuring chamber to provide the complete system VacuDAP standard. The display unit enables to change settings and parameters to adjust the measuring chamber to the measuring conditions. A printer can be connected at the serial interface (RS232) at the Display unit. Also data transfer into a RIS System can be realised by this interface.

 

 

Dose Area Product meters used for fluoroscopic X-ray units can be equipped with a double-line display that indicates dose area product and dose area product rate simultaneously. Further functionality corresponds to display standard.

The two-channel measuring system VacuDAP twin can be used for radiographic units with two X-ray tubes. Both measured values are indicated independently. Further functionality corresponds to display standard.
