VacuTec Meßtechnik GmbH is a company whose success is based on quality and an innovative product philosophy. Looking back on more than 55 years of the development and manufacture of detectors for ionising radiation, we are making great endeavours in strengthening our market position as a reliable supplier of a broad range of radiation detectors and trying to win new markets. We make efforts to live up to our customers' expectations and meet the requirements of the people and environment by having made quality the major concern of all of our employees. Quality is the basic concept underlying any of our company's management activities.

The management undertakes regular evaluations of the efficiency of the quality assurance system by analysing internal audits and takes the measures required for the constant further development and improvement of the QM system. We have taken up quality as a matter of course and a permanent obligation; it is absolutely necessary for our company's innovative capability and for the service to our customers.

While VacuTec Messtechnik GmbH is not subject to reporting under the Dodd-Frank Act, we are aware that the regulations stated therein are of particular importance to our international and internationally active customers. In an effort to ensure the peaceful, fair, and sustainable use of our global resources we have decided to carry out a proactive audit of our product range.

Regulation (EC) no. 1907/2006

Substances that can have very serious and often irreversible effects on human health and the environment are identified as Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and placed on ECHA's "Candidate List" (https://echa.europa.eu/de/candidate-list-table).
Article 33 of REACH establishes the obligation to provide information on SVHC substances in a concentration of more than 0.1% w/w in articles to downstream actors in the supply chain and, upon request, to consumers.
We naturally fulfill this obligation based on the information provided by our suppliers. In the list below you will find information about SVHC substances in our products.
